Red Shirt Rookies on 9 News
Check out this 9 News segment on our Red Shirt Rookies program that is led by our wonderful physical education teacher, Lisa Sacino!  This program pairs hand-picked able-bodied students with special-needs students to help them experience sports in a way that is beneficial to everyone involved.  We are very proud of this program and hope you can find time to watch the segment.

Congratulations to Madison for Best in Colorado Doodle 4 Google!
This amazing 4th grade student from BFHE was awarded the Doodle 4 Google award for the state of Colorado.  Her doodle was inspired by the theme, "What I See for the Future."  She is one of 53 students nationwide who moved to the next round of public voting.  Click here to watch the 9News story about Madison and her winning doodle.  Click here to see the Denver Post article about it.

Three cheers for our fantastic Art Teacher, Erica Martin Knowlton, who helped initiate this award by having our students submit their entries!
