Grant Voting


2024-2025 Grant Cycle

The PTCO is dedicated to supporting our school and enriching the educational experience for all students. Thanks to your generous contributions during the school’s Fun Run this past fall—and throughout the year—we have been able to fund numerous valuable opportunities for our students, including:
  • $25,000 to fund 2 teaching assistants (TAs) or paraeducators for the year
  • Funding for 4th and 5th grade field trip buses
  • A 5th grade trip to the symphony
  • New soccer goals for student use during recess and P.E.
  • A field trip for our ILC - special or severe needs -  students to the Denver Children’s Museum
  • $11,000 for overall classroom improvements, including supplies for specials teachers, ILC, and preschool, such as specialized seating and other classroom materials
  • $4,000 from our Scholastic Book Fair, which supported the purchase of new library materials and the repair of existing books
  • $2,000 in staff hospitality during conference weeks and staff appreciation days
  • Nearly $1,500 in startup costs for our PBIS program (known to students as OWLS)
  • Funding for community events, including the Back-to-School Night BBQ, Trunk or Treat, Holiday Shop, Winter Wonderland Dance, Makers Night and Movie Night.
  • We are in the early stages of construction for an outdoor learning space at BFHE based on a community vote and teacher feedback.  Please check back for updates and see the proposed rendering of the space below.
